DO YOU ACCEPT CARDS?
Yes, we do. However, we are located on a farm and cannot always rely on great reception service. Please ensure you bring cash as a back-up.
WHY IS IT BETTER TO BUY TICKETS ONLINE?
Buying your event tickets online ensure your entry to the event and you can skip the queues! Yay! You still have to get your ticket checked though.
ARE THERE BEVERAGES AND SNACKS TO BUY?
Yes, our fully licensed bar offers basic alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, energy drinks as well as delicious coffee powered by the famous Toro. We also have various light snacks available.
DO KIDS ENTER FOR FREE?
Yes. Children under 13 years can enter any of the trails for free - A parent or guardian MUST be present.
ARE THERE MEDICAL FACILITIES?
A basic medical emergency kit can be provided at any time. However, we do not have on-site doctors on normal weekends. We will have emergency medical teams at all major Hartspad events we host.
DO YOU HAVE MOUNTAIN BIKES AND THE NECESSARY GEAR TO HIRE?
Unfortunately we do not have mountain bikes or gear to hire yet. We are definitely planning to provide this option in the future.
DO YOU HAVE ACCOMMODATION?
Yes. We make use of De Oude Melkstal’s accommodation, as they provide neat and clean rooms, and always deliver high-quality service. They are located on our premises which makes it even more convenient for tough ride days.
MAY I RIDE WITHOUT A HELMET?
Unfortunately not. Remember the golden rule – No Helmet, No Ride! We provide trails for all types of adventure fanatics, with mother-nature at its roughest and toughest; and therefore the risk of injury without a helmet is too great. Riding without a helmet may result in getting fined. Hartspad staff will escort you off the premises should you get caught without a helmet.
DO YOU PROVIDE ROUTE MAPS?
No, we do not provide individual route maps as we have various information maps set-up on the tracks. Each route is specifically marked with a colour code system. As we only have 23 kilometers of singletrack, the chance of getting lost is very slim. Just keep on going, you will find the end.
MAY I BRING MY PETS?
We love pets and animals and therefore allow pets to come and enjoy our trails. However, we have some rules with regard to your furry-friend.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I’M STILL ON THE TRAILS WHEN DRAAIPUNT IS CLOSING?
We allow riders/runners to enjoy the trails during daylight hours. If you are enjoying the trails and the Draaipunt cafe closes, you can continue riding/running on the trails. PLEASE make sure to leave the premises before dark as we cannot guarantee your safety after hours.
AT WHAT TIME WILL COFFEE BE AVAILABLE?
Our speciality coffee (Powered by Toro) is available during our normal operating hours every Saturday and Sunday.
